I used to be a regular on this forum and life sort of got away from me. My water plant selection is pretty much down to some cattails and Iris pseudocorus so I was wondering if anyone would be thinning plants this year and might like to trade for land plants?
At one point, I had several hardy water lilies, lotus, parrots feather, lettuce, cattails, rush, Iris pseudocorus, celery and a number of other plants. :(
Last year, a mink took up residency under the bricks by the pond and taunted me in the fall, while it ate my fish! I saw a dead mink on the road last week and as much as I love critters, I sure hope it was the one that ate my fish! LOL The other day I took my two year old for a ride on the mower and saw that we still have some fish alive so we were very happy to see them! The mink was downing them at an alarming rate!
