| I hope it inspires others to try something like this in their own area. I have to tell you a cute story. Lois, the daughter of one of our regulars, Mary, made the patriotic placemats using the red, white and blue fabrics. She brought them down from Daytona to turn in and was showing her mom and dad. Dad takes one and sets it aside, this will be mine, he says. Lois says ok, dad, I made that one for you. He's a retired pilot, and that placemat has airplanes on it. When she came back this week she made his lunch and goes to set it down and says, dad, where's your placemat? Don't set it on that, don't want to spoil it and I don't have a coaster. She has since made him two coasters. I'm going to try and get over to Mary's to take a picture of that set. |
