Attract Beneficial Insects

Jackson, MO(Zone 6b)

I have read Cosmos bipinnatus 'White Sensation' attracts beneficial insects. So, is this the only cosmos that attracts beneficial insects?
Have you had success planting this plant for this purpose?

I am thinking most of these plants that attract ben. insects are annuals.
