I've met up with stickywilly more than once. Now I know what to call this tenacious plant. I don't remember what I may have called it... I'm pretty sure I had equally colorful names in my head for it when it attached to me and wouldn't let go.

I like the name robin-run-the-hedge too, although it is too poetic for a plant that sticks to your socks. Thanks for reading, JK!

It's Spring here and there is a lot of Sticky Willy and Ive known this plant all my life but never knew its name. I was close to sending in a photo to Plant ID forum! I remember the odoratum from the woods around my childhood home. Ive not seen it since I grew up. Thanks so much for the article. I always learn something here, no matter how many times I log on.
