When the weather was cold or rainy (or both) my grandma used to always say, "Nice weather...for ducks."

I guess she was right--the ducks don't seem to mind it. This guy (and his mate) were in my front yard this morning eating spilled birdseed under the feeder. They don't seem to mind the gloom.

I don't know what is worse though. Freeze them out then burn them up or give it to them gradually...
