Our recycling/garbage dump facility offers Organic (certified OMRI for use in organic farming they say), for 7 dollars a yard. They make this compost from yard waste that is gathered from curbside yardwaste containers.
How can they call it organic when they have no idea what products each person has used in their landscape?
Is their a way of heating it or cleaning it or something that makes it organic, removing even traces of pesticides, herbicides and the like?
I guess I should just call them and ask them because they must get asked this alot!
