I started out my garden with drought tolerant, hardy perennials and they have stuck by me.
There are so many to choose from and, once in the garden, they look amazing from spring through to winter.
My husband thinks they are grand and, not being a gardener himself, doesn't realize that most of the work is being done by the plants themselves!
I just let him think I've been slaving away when the garden bursts into bloom each year!
