Glass infused wood

I saw this product being used to form a raised bed in a recent "This Old House" episode.,,1099729,00.html

Seems perfect for this use - what do y'all think?

That does look very good. Wonder how to get it and how much it costs? If they get it into HD or Lowe's, that would make it easy. I just have about 4" green painted metal enclosing my beds and the paint is chipping and looks ugly. I'd love a nice bed made with this! Janet

Here's a list of dealers.

I don't think Lowe's or Home Depot sell this, but I'm hoping they will in the future.
