twilight, that magical moment
when she morphs into
Owl Cat, gliding
silent and deadly
across the fields,
swooping down
snagging unsuspecting
field mice.
I am their worst nightmare,
I am evil incarnate,
I am Witch Cat!
(On second thought, think I'll doze here until
he calls me in for dinner, take a nap
by the fireplace, purr a bit
in that nice cozy chair,
and dream of mouse mousse.
No bones, no fuzz, no
mess!)
