Don't lose power when you have your weed wacker, edger, or trimmer connected to your extension cord. So the cord doesn't come apart twist the two ends before you plug them in. It will look like a pretzel when you are done. Here is a picture of before and after.
That works, but puts a lot of strain on the wires. Stranded wire will take more abuse than solid, but I avoid doing that as much as possible, and use a longer extension or a cord lock device.
Bubba, I am only using one extension cord. The connection was between my leaf blower and the extension cord. I guess I will have to try one of my velcro cord wraps instead.
