Can someone tell me a simple way to keep the ants out of my figs? I got rid of the birds eating them by putting a netting over the trees but now Im having a battle with the ants getting in and eating my beautiful figs. Thanks for the help

There are sticky things you can buy and put around the trunk of trees which will keep ants from crawling up. Tanglefoot is one brand but there are most likely others too http://www.planetnatural.com/site/tanglefoot-pest-barrier.html
