Hi there. I am looking for approx 4'x4' specimen plant that flowers for my front bed. It will be next to passionflower vine (purple) and cat mint. It is pretty full-sun (a little afternoon shade). Googling these criteria, the Wine and Roses Weigela comes up. Love it by the pictures. Anyone have any idea how it would do in zone 8 coastal CA? Winter temp 30's to 60's and summer 50's to 80's. Very temperate. Any advice would be appreciated. Does anyone know what it looks like in winter? Pictures would be great.
