What is happening to this hosta?

Moncton, NB(Zone 5a)

I am unsure what type this hosta is as it was already planted when I purchased my house. It has always been just green but when I was out in the garden today I noticed one leaf with a white stripe and another with goldish streaking. Have you seen this before?

Here you can see a close up of the streaking.

Looks like you have two different sports which you can divide off as new plants or one might be a reversion back to a parent plant. BEV

You MAY be able to divide them off, but if it affects only one leaf in an eye, it may just be an aberration of that leaf. Some plants like 'Allan P. McConnell', 'Lakeside Zinger' and 'Lemon Frost' do that sort of thing quite regularly, but aren't really sporting.

This reminds me, I have a few leaves coming off of June that are solid. I guess that's the parent, Halcyon? Does anyone know the other parent?

Peoria, IL(Zone 5a)

June is just a sport of Halcyon.

Halcyon is from tardiflora x sieboldiana 'Elegans'.

ah. well then. Guess I have myself a new Halcyon.

wow see I am always learning something new. Thanks.

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

I have a section of Striptease that has solid color leaves. Guessing it's sporting. I know that one is a sport of Gold Standard.
