13 years in this house and I have never (that I know of) been visited by a Great Blue Heron! In this pic he is on the block wall directly above the pond. I'm completely freaked out! Some of my Koi are 11 years old. When I built the ponds I did it with the sides straight up and down to make it difficult for anything to "wade" into the water. Now he has seen the "all you can eat fish buffet" I'm afraid he may come back and try to spear one of the KOI :(
