    Hi,
I think the Alliums (of both kinds) suffer from being compared to the 'Onion' in 'Ornamental Onions'. Surely it would be better to call them 'Ornamental Chives' (or has someone a better idea?) to give potential buyers a better appreciation of what can be achieved. After all, who last ate the bulb of any Allium mentioned above?
