    		 I think the birds ate all the buds off the bushes during the winter. We had a long, hard winter here in Minnesota. Did any one else encounter this situation?

    		 We had a long hard winter in Massachusetts too, but I think "long, hard winters" are longer and harder up there than they are for us. Anyway, all the forsythia I observed seemed to do their usual thing. Thanks for your contribution.
