I've seen a deep blue/red poppy in my area, but I have no idea what the name is. Can anyone give me the name of a poppy like this? Thanks.

Try Plant Files Poppies and cruis thru the lists of Oriental poppies.

They are really hard to find, I'm not sure why. I would think that hybridizers would be busy making all sorts of wonderful colors.

It might be Burning Heart. Have you tried Breeze Hill nursery in T.C.? I visit your area often and have found oriental poppies there.
