There's a newbie over in the Beginners' forum with some leaf curling going on with the tomatoes. I noticed the lower leaves were getting all ratty and hanging out in the soil, so I advised trimming these off up to the first cluster of fruit, to at least avoid splashup.
I know there's a reason the leaves curl, but I can't remember what it is. Could it be spider mites?
On the other hand, I have a tomato plant that exhibits leaf curl on a regular basis. The plant itself is perfectly healthy, and there are no spider mites.
