I live in Las Vegas, and to compound matters I do not have any soil, only my patio. But after 16 years here I decided to try container gardening. So far the only thing to die have been the strawberries. Yes I watered them, 2 times a day sometimes, but they never responded. I planted them in fertilized vegetable soil in a large container with a drain pain under them. Any advice for the desert anyone?
Possibly the roots got baked in the container; I know that happens to almost everything that I put into containers here (also in the desert). Your sun and heat are worse than mine.
