Nice capture! I like how well you have captured the red in the blossoms. I sometimes have difficulty getting that true color red for some reason.

BEAUTIFUL picture of the Geiger. I lost mine years ago when we flooded from Hurricane Georges and it killed it. I never replaced it, but your photo makes me want one again. Those Tortoise Beetles eat the leaves down here in the Keys and the leaves always looked so ragged, one reason I didn't replace it.

Too bad about those tortoise beetles! There is always something wanting to rain on our color parade.

I just love flowering trees. I wish I lived where it is warmer just for all their flowering trees! This one has just such color. I am in love.

GardenGuyKin, Thanks. I have the same problem a lot. The light has to be just right. Also, I may capture the true color; however, it doesn't upload true. This is bloom's' color is very accurate.

pixie62560, I had never seen one before I traveled to Maui. It is a lovely tree and quite plentiful there.

plantladylin, onewish1 and locakelly, thank you for your comments.

islandgirl37, thank you. I'm sorry that you lost your tree. Glad I don't have tortoise beetles here! I wish I could grow a geiger tree here. The blooms are so beautiful.

Kell, thanks for your comments. This tree's blooms are outstanding.
