So of course, I got out to Contrary Mary's Farm on the outskirts of Chicago.
It was very easy to find and Mary was very helpful and friendly.
It was wonderful to see such an assortment of Hosta in landscape design. Her display accetuated the postve qualities of each plant.
(I took my camera, only to find my batteries were dead.)
Several that I found amazing and not mentioned often are: X - Rated, Hadsen Blue, Stained Glass, Niagra Falls (really had a water fall look), Praying Hands, Thunderbolt, Cameo and Manhattan to name a few.
She actully had Heuchera, Obsidian!! Every place in Charlotte was sold out! Upon seeing it, I see why!
The rich dark leaves have a silk flower finish look to them. The leaves feel silky too. So I had to buy that one . . . along with several other additions.
