    What is the plant pictured in the newsletter? that prompted me to click on the story - to find it pictured again at the far right but with no information

    The plant in the thumbnail is Clerodendrum quadriloculare, commonly called shooting star or fireworks flower.

    This Clerodendrum is extremely invasive - it can send up root suckers 15' from the main plant! Use caution when planting this in your yard!

    I agree. Contain this Clerodendrum if you intend to grow it.
