Hey, Gwen. Wonderful article. I actually wrote a novel for teen girls -- Forget-Her-Nots -- that features the language of flowers magically come to life.

Using mostly flowers and herbs from my own garden in Virginia, I also do tussie-mussie demonstrations and talk about the language of flowers through history. I even did one at the Philadelphia Flower Show last year! It's been great fun, and I've made lots of gardening friends and taught lots of teen girls to speak the language of flowers. ;-)
