My absolute favorite way to prepare asparagus is to coat it in viniagrette, then grill it. I was wondering if it would work to grill up a huge batch, then freeze it in smaller quantities to serve in the winter months. I have blanched and frozen asparagus in the past, but wondered if this would have the same effect, and add some wonderful flavor in the bargain. Any ideas?
