A few hummingbirds come quite often to this particular salvia. They really love it.

Yes they definately do, and it blooms a really long time here.

Ditto here. I have planted numerous varieties of salvia around my back porch so I can watch them come and go. They are also fond of several of the annual varieties which reseed themselves.

In addition to assorted perennial Salvia varieties I generally plant tall red & blue annual salvias. I agree that the Hummers love them.
