The attached plant does not look exactly like the one shown when I goggled alligator plant but has some of the features. Small plants grow at the end of the leaves.

Thanks - I have given away dozens and have always told them it was an alligator plant because that's what the person that gave it to me called it. How ironic the botanical is gastonis since my last name is Gaston.
