So then I made one place mat sized. Have I used it for a place mat? Noooooo. I am going to use it on one of my bedside tables. and the small 'tablecloth' on the other side of the bed. No more hiding out in a drawer somewhere but out where I can see them and enjoy them.
I'm not sure what I'm going to do with this one yet. I made this not to long after I learned how. The little ball of tatting thread Grandma gave me had been used up and I asked my boyfriend if he could pick up a ball of thread for me when he came to see me. We lived on a ranch way out in the hills and didn't get into town often. Anyway, he brought me a ball of red crochet cotton size 30 so I used that. I made all kinds of stuff with that red thread.
