One of Tom Wood's dwarf Hedychium hybrids. It has been a reliable bloomer that rarely gets over 3 feet for me. I have it in a somewhat shady spot and it doesn't get tall and leggy like the taller types would. Its a good hybrid, and I just wanted to try posting photos on here as I haven't yet . :)

Haven't heard from Tom since he was getting ready to leave for China. He made a side trip to England and Australia apparently as a friend in each country mentioned attending a lecture he gave. I assume he is in China now though.

Hi Tim, Yes, I just received a couple emails from Tom. He is back in China now, just returned from a collecting trip in Australia. He will be back in the USA in October...
until April, I think he said. Then back to China for 6 months.
