blomma Casper, WY (Zone 4a) Yesterday my screen would flick yellowish off and on, they return to correct color. Can anyone tell my why.
Eggs_Zachtly Washington, MO (Zone 5b) Loose cable?
blomma Casper, WY (Zone 4a) nope
Doug9345 Durhamville, NY (Zone 5b) Then either a monitor going or a graphics card going.
blomma Casper, WY (Zone 4a) Doug, I figured that but where is the graphic card? My monitor is 9 years old.
Edit to add that the yellow tint comes and goes.

Doug9345 Durhamville, NY (Zone 5b) It's in the computer where the monitor plugs in. It could be a separate card or built into the motherboard. I've had color problems with both a monitor failing and a graphics card failing. If you have another monitor swap it out. If you have a laptop plug the monitor into that. With it coming and going it is going to be hard to be sure what it is. HOw old is your computer.?
blomma Casper, WY (Zone 4a) I bought the computer and monitor together and both are 9 years old
blomma Casper, WY (Zone 4a) Called my computer guy and he also thinks it is the monitor. Will borrow one from my daughter to make sure before I buy another one.
Thanks for your help
