Storm Damage from Hurricane Irene!

Most of my Hostas made out pretty good but the bigger ones really got tore up. :*((

So sorry viginiarose to hear about the damage but if its any consolation, it's late in the hosta season and next spring they will be good as new.

Oh, I'm so sorry, virginiarose. Having suffered bad hail damage in June this year, I can feel your pain.

Fortunately, your babies got through most of the growing season before they were damaged--I would bet that they'll look good as new next year. Just leave the damaged leaves where they are (unless they turn yellow and die) and wait for next spring. :)
