My Husband spotted what he thought was a Hummingbird enjoying our Flocks. It turned out to be a olive green and purple Hummingbird Clearwing Moth. We live in Highland, Indiana, and have never seen one before. Please let us know if anyone is familiar with them being in our area.

Thank you for telling us about your Hummingbird Moth.

We would like to have this location added to the site and would encourage you to add it yourself. We record localities by entering your zipcode.

Open this page (for the Hummingbird Moth):

Near the bottom of the page is a boxed area with the heading Zipcode Report. Fill your zipcode into the box provided and click on the Add button.

The name of your region will then be added to the list of known localities for this bug.

Happy Gardening,
