| Hey Joyce do you see any Silver Ameraucana babies. Thinking the 2 on the left. I put 6 Araucana eggs under the hen but the Ameraucana hens kept laying. She hatched over 4 days. I threw out 6 unhatched eggs today

| In pic 1 it looks like the one on the left for sure.. and the other one, I can't tell for sure.
In pic #3 you might have 3 there. :)
Silvers hatch out in the Partridge color.. and some don't have the "grayish" down..
I'm no expert on Silvers.. I have lavenders and they are sooooo easy... they are lavender from the beginning! This was fun though! :) You sure have a cute batch of boo boo babiez there! |

| I wasn't sure about the third but thought the 2 for sure from the pics I could find online. Thanks Joyce ;-) I will get more pics tomorrow or the weekend. I don't like to mess with them when they are first hatched because mom is so fussy about it.
How old for you to tell is hen or roo in pic of wing?? I so don't need 2 roos. They are in a very small coop 4x4 and run 8L x 6w since there are only 3 of them and they free range all day. More hens won't be a problem but 2 roo's probably would be. My Roo is such a wuss. He is afraid of my bantam Millie and Blk& Wht Duccle Roo's. I had to put a divider up in the chicken yard so they couldn't torment him. He stays on his side of the fence until they decide to go in their cage then he jumps up on top of his cage and will jump on their side to see what he maybe missing lol |

Your babies are darling! Love the color no matter what it ends up being! |

| 4 days old is about perfect for me... (It's when I've gotten it the closest) Just don't "spread" the wing.. Standing normal is best.. I also like to compare tails.. no tail is often a roo.. Depends on the breed.
Annie, I don't know about BCMs If they feather like the rest, I can guess... but I'm not that great with them I don't think. However, I still very much enjoy guessing. I am against leg bands.. they are too hard to cut off and can get grown in so fast..

| I will get pics tomorrow. I am going to move them to the larger A Frame cage. Mom has a Hissy fit if I even think about getting close and hauls them back into the ground coop lol. I will take a pic each time I grab one of them. I'll move Mom first |

| What cuties! I've been trying to learn ZZ's method of feather sexing but I can't tell when their wings are not in the normal position - if I can ever tell... You will need the real expert. |

| I can't tell by those pics either.. if they are not just standing with their wings in the normal position, I'm sorry.. I can't guess at all. |
