    Hello, I received this mail from another group I do belong. I live in Chile, if I was there I'd try to help, also I do know about the company because I knew its connection with George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.
    Here is the mail:

    D. Landreth Seed Company is in trouble and must raise a lot of money to stay in business before the month is over. It is suggested on this webite that folks buy their catalog for $5. It is a glossy wonderland of seeds, tubers, and more.

    This is the company that sold George Washington and Thomas Jefferson (America's 1st and 3rd presidents) seeds. They introduced the tomato the United States...and much more.

    Please read this article and decide if you can help by ordering the catalog, seeds, etc.

    A really neat idea I saw in the comments section was to buy seeds to tuck into Christmas cards we send. I would never have thought of that.
