I work part-time at a local nursery and fell in love with this salvia at first sight.
While others were buying May Night, I ignored the zone requirements and "this won't grow here" advice and planted my Autumn Sage in full sun in the hottest bed in my garden--right next to the cement curb and the street out front!
The bed has great drainage, so I water using a soaker hose once a week and use compost as mulch.
My favorite plant and its friend nearby flower profusely from spring through fall.
Autumn Sage, Purple Ice Plant, Purple Heart, and White Guara.
What more can one ask for?
Reruns of the BBC shows with Alan Titchmarsh, please!

    Hi there jazzy,

Thank you so much for this wonderful comment. :) I am sorry for the delay in replying.

I am right there with you. You have mentioned some of my favorite plants. I do lean toward the pink Guara though.

And yes, reruns would be great!

Thank you again and all the very best to you!
    Benny
