The colors have been very good here. My mother lives in Zone 3 where the leaves are falling fast, but where I live in Zone 4 the leaves are starting to turn color. There have been so many rainy and windy days which causes the foliage to fall from the trees soon after they turn color.

i agree dillansnana...we had lots of rain the last couple of days, and ants found their way into our bathroom. dh set out ant bait traps, but they didn't work, so he had to spray to get rid of them.

The botanical garden in SF is nice. I love going to the Conservatory in Golden Gate Park. Went there for Mother's Day with my son and his girlfriend. We also went to the Japanese Tea Garden.

I have yet to plant all that I have. I probably won't order this year. I have some in pots that dried during the summer. Maybe I just leave them there until they start to bloom. I did that last year on one of my husband's favorite tulip - 'Estella Rijnveld' I don't think I spelled it right, but those blooms lasted on the porch a lot longer than if they were in garden beds. No snow and wind to beat them down and there were some warm days that would have accelerated the flower bloom too quickly. So this way they lasted about 3 weeks, instead of one.

Yes, I cut the carbs for about 3 weeks. then after that, moderated my portions. I went from 145 to 132. I am hoping to make it to 125. I still have a flabby stomach!
