Your interesting article brought back fond memories...my father in law had a large piece of property & there wasn't anything he wouldn't try growing, most with success, including
the cotton...he grew it especially to teach the grandchildren, but it was really us adults that enjoyed the large bush, from beautiful flowers to the cotton bolls that were almost nonstop.
