I agree with azulverde; I mow my leaves and let them feed the lawn. But if you're determined to denude your lawn, know that your blower can be heard surprisingly far away (as our rural neighborhood proves) AND the toxic smoke from your burning of said leaves can be even more irritating to neighbors for more than a mile away.
The EPA published a pamphlet which lists the many toxins in the smoke of burning leaves. For people like me who get physically sick upon breathing smoke of any kind, the beautiful days of Autumn can be quickly ruined by seemingly distant neighbors who blow and burn.
