    Sliced yellow squash dredged in a little flour and fried in hot olive oil until brown on one side, then turned and a chopped onion added, then fried until both are brown is one of the great vegetable dishes in the world along with fried okra, less the onion. When I fry these, I dredge them in corn bread mix which is a combination of flour and finely ground corn meal.
    I urge you to try it this way and you will be converted.
    We are anxious to try the green tomato Parmesan. Thanks for the recipes
