We spotted this bird just before sundown on 11/4/11 in Hamilton County, TX. It was Kestral-sized, but lacked color. It was brown and off-white. I caught a few pics from distance and the light was bad, but I believe it is a female Merlin. What do you think? I'll post 3 pics.
