    I wonder if this will work on end blossom fruit rot? I live in Sarasota my yard is where squash go to die :)

    It's worth a shot - I've used cinnamon to arrest damping off and other soil-borne fungi. One time I had a ripening pod of berries on one of my rarer Anthuriums and the pod stem started to rot. I cleaned it off and powdered it up with cinnamon - problem solved! The pod is just now getting fully ripe and emitting healthy berries.
