Originally we began with three compost bins and, seeing how much we use it for the vegetable garden, my husband, Jack, added three more in 2006.

It truly is Black Gold for the vegetables as well as our (over 100) hydrangeas and Japanese irises as well as hostas and most other plants unless the plants want poor soil, which we don't have anywhere on the property.

It's one of the very best things a gardener can do for his/her garden.
