PlantFiles has listings of scientific name synonyms, which like the accepted names are searchable. BirdFiles doesn't. Can this feature be added to BirdFiles please? Recent research has resulted in a lot of birds being moved to different genera, and users may still be looking for them under the old names.
Can I add the same request for BugFiles. It is in fact repeating a long standing request to Dave, that he promised, but took a long time getting around to implementing. I have been accumulating a list of synonyms for bugs that have already caused problems since way back in October 2008.
