Good morning,I'm a newbie with mums.I planted a few in the flower bed that were given to me.They had bloomed and I cut the dead ones off, planted them and the plants started budding again, then some of the buds turned black and got soft.I did have a few that bloomed, the ones that opened are on the bottom or inside the plant.

I live in zone 8 we have had highs during the day in the 80's and night lows in the 30's, could it be the weather doing it.
Do they bloom best in cool temps??

Thank you for any advice or opinions I can get!!!
