This bird was seen on Cape Cod, MA, but several years ago and not sure of the date(camera date was wrong). The closest I could find was a Eurasian tree sparrow, but wrong range per my guide book. I looked at warblers and sparrows with no luck. Any help?

It looks like a House Sparrow to me.. I see a bit of gray on the crown and on a Eurasian tree, it would be all brown.

Thanks, I looked at my Sibley's guide and specifically looked at House sparrow...missed the Adult Breeding phase photo I guess. You are correct. Can't believe I missed it as it is on the same page as the Eurasian sparrow...
    Thanks.

Yep, House Sparrows. Nice bright male on the left (so taken in spring / early summer).
