Aroids: Spathiphyllum species?

This was found growing in the lagoon in the rain forest of Chiapas, MX at around 825 m elevation. I have never seen a white spathes, and the spadix never turns white. The people eat the inflorescence. Could this be S.cochlearispathum or ...?
