This is a WIP too. I swear, I have too many Works in progress but hopefully they will all be done in time. I still have to do the snow, the edging and backing and then the outer binding. Its the rug hooking that takes so long but something that my friend will remember this Christmas. It is a special one as she just started her second round of Chemo last week. I pray that she has many more Christmases to be able to enjoy this rug.

Aw... thank you all so much. I really love doing them but I think I would prefer not doing them with a deadline in mind. It gets to stressful when you have to get it done.

Some of us need deadlines to keep us focused. I need them, even if I'm usually way ahead of schedule.

You know, that is true to an extent. When I can't get motivated, just tell me that I need to have something done by a certain time and I'm off like a dirty shirt. hehehe I guess that, if I could fool myself into thinking that something needed to be done by such and such a time, I wouldn't have so many WIP laying around. ehehe But I get bored, sometimes, on one thing and need to switch, so it helps to have a few projects in progress.

I admire that you can work on several projects at once. I cannot, I have to totally focus on the task at hand. I finish a project, clean my room and machines, put everything away, and then start on something new. My sewing room is now small so I have to clear old clutter if I hope to keep everything sorted out.

I'm the same way when packing for a trip. I have to launder and put everything away and then go back and get out what I want to pack. If I try packing as I go. I inevitably forget my underwear or something. LOL

We won't even go there right now as my studio, guest room and stairs all show the signs of Christmas. I have decorations in boxes all over the place that I won't be using all the clutter from my last and next projects. I know what I am going to be doing today.
Hehe, I will take a before and after pic. That might me listed under scary. heheh
