I made 4 of these Christmas Angels in the past 3 days. You talk about marathon crocheting!
Each one is sprayed with glitter and sealed, but it didn't show up well in the photo.

You can see a bit of the sparkle in this view of the raised wings.

Thanks, they were a pleasure to make and assemble. I used some fabric stiffener to puff up the wings and bend the arm.

LOL, yes they make spray glitter and I had no idea either until I was in the craft store and saw it with the other spray paints. It is silver glitter spray and also comes in other colors. I was hesitant to try it on the white thread, but amazingly it just made it sparkle. Next to it was some Krylon glitter sealer that is clear and you spray over the glitter to keep it intact instead of all over your hands and furniture.

I am in the process of making 2 Tooth fairies for our granddaughters that have little gold glitter thread bags to hold the lost tooth and will be spraying them with the silver glitter too!

Well, I will just have to hie myself into Michael's and check that stuff out. I've been trying to figure out a good way to 'bling' the tatted snowflakes I've been making. I've done it before but I've slept since then and can't remember just how the heck I did it... Thanks haighr.
