Thank-you for this fantastic article!, I did not know that chipmunks were beneficial to the yard as they eat unwanted bug species and slugs etc. I have a nest of chipmunks on a side hill up half way up my driveway right next to it, in a old water drainage run off pipe, and I have to be carefully to drive slow when I come up and down with my car as to not hit them when they scurry across. I enjoy them, and dont want to see a chipmunk pancake. Squirrels have been a real nuisance digging up my bulbs and getting into my feeders, but I dont have the heart to get squirrel proof feaders or put out something to kill moles in the back of the property, as thay are living things that need to eat too. this year I may try some kind of all natural pepper spray to keep the rabbits from eating my pumpkin vines. Every year he gets my pumpkin blooms rite when theyre just starting to get big on the vine! Again; Thanks for this Excellent Article.
