We have always had an awful time with moles in the yard. Then the voles started using the mole tunnels as a subway and now they're trashing our garden! People have blamed moles for eating garden plant roots for years (and probably do sideswipe a few getting to the bugs and larvae), but the voles are the main culprits in the gardens around here!
