I've been through so many stressful and grief stricken situations; disabled child- so much so, that I couldn't find a sitter, so I couldn't work. Unfortunately, much later in life, I had become disabled myself and because I couldn't work I cannot draw disability and because of my DH (Dear Hubby) who also draws disability I can only get $80 a month SSI which, in this day and age, doesn't go very far. My DH lost a brother and a sister to cancer recently. Both of us suffer from constant pain and the anger and depression associated with our disabilities.
Being among all the beautiful colors, smells, sounds and wildlife around my flowers soothes my soul! Seems to melt away all of those stresses away and makes me feel closer to God! God is beauty.
